This pad is designed to stop the frog from descending to the ground through peripheral loading of the hoof wall that results in sore heels and possible corns. It is used in conjunction with impression material (DIM) or lightweight hoof packing such as Glue-U Shufill.
The Full mesh pad is designed for maximum protection, particularly for horses in stony turnout and riding environment, and especially for thin soled horses as a protection.
